"전기 인제라 미타드(Injera Mithad)" 의 제품 표준 및 비교적 라벨링 개발 Context
Injera is a thin pancake, a leavened bread which can be made either of Teff, Corn, Sorghum and/or Millet and is the staple food by most Ethiopians. Injera is baked using clay plate of diameter 40-60 cm called Mitad, using either of biomass, fire wood, cow dung, leaves, saw dust and electrical power as source of energy. Injera Mitads are the most prevalent and energy-intensive appliances used in Ethiopia and contribute to the bulk of the electrical energy consumption and power demand of the Domestic Tariff group. By implementing an energy efficiency standard and labelling program, Ethiopia could is estimated that Ethiopia could generate energy savings and contribute to significant GHG emissions. 배경
인제라는 테프(Teff), 옥수수, 수수, 기장 등으로 만드는 얇은 빵이며 에티오피아 국민의 주식이다. 인제라는 바이오매스, 장작, 소똥, 잎, 톱밥 등을 에너지원으로 활용해 미타드라고 불리우는 40-60cm 직경의 진흙 플레이트 위에 굽는다. 인제라 미타드는 에티오피아의 가장 두드러지는 가전제품이자 에너지 집약적인 가전제품으로써 국내 전기 에너지 소비 및 전력 수요의 대부분을 차지하고 있다. 에너지 효율적 기준 및 분류 프로그램을 통해 에티오피아는 전력사용을 절감하고 GHG 배출량을 감축할 수 있을 것이다.
