Korea Insitute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) was first established in 1918 as the geolgical survey of Korea. Since then, KIGAM has developed greatly to cover various research areas in the field of Geosciences. KIGAM has recently established the Carbon Resource Recycling Appropriate Technology Center and has been putting a great deal of effort into developing and commercializing carbon resource recycling appropriate technologies.
