포트루이스(Port Louis, 모리셔스의 수도) 항구에 대한 기후 변화 취약성 및 적응 연구
This Technology Transfer Advances Mauritius' Nationally Determined Contribution to strengthen management of related governance through investments in climate resiliency, and thus further the work of the vulnerability assessment and monitoring system put in place by the Government's Climate Change Division (CCD).
본 기술 이전은 기후 회복력에 대한 투자를 통해 관련 거버넌스 관리를 강화하여, 정부의 기후변화국(Climate Change Division; CCD)이 주관하는 취약성 평가 및 감독 시스템 운영을 강화하고자 하는 모리셔스(Mauritius)의 국가자발적기여(Nationally Determined Contribution; NDC)에 영향을 줄 것이다.
Context
Mauritius, as a small island developing state, is highly vulnerable to the adverse impacts of climate change. Port Louis harbour is exposed to a number of combined risks from sea level rise including storm surge, flooding and more powerful and frequent winds, thereby challenging the resilience of port infrastructure whilst at the same time disrupting the supply chain.
배경
개발 단계에 있는 작은 섬 모리셔스(Mauritius)는 기후 변화의 부정적인 영향들에 굉장히 취약하다. 포트루이스 항구는 폭풍 해일, 홍수, 더 강력하고 자주 일어나는 돌풍을 포함한 해수면 상승의 수많은 복합적 요소들에 노출되어 있다. 그래서 공급 체인을 무너뜨리는 동시에 항구 인프라의 회복력을 테스트하고자 한다.
