INDEX: Award is the biggest design prize in the world, worth €500,000, and is commonly referred to as the ‘Nobel Prize of design’. Launched in 2005, the award celebrates game-changing design and innovation. Deadline for applications: March 10, 2019.
INDEX: Award is split into five categories: Body, Home, Work, Play and Learning and Community, representing human life from inside out. The Award is also aligned with the 17 United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).

INDEX: Design to Improve Life, founded on request by the Danish government, works to foster design-thinking and innovation through a variety of educational programs. The Danish non-profit organization has global reach and is under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. INDEX’s unique and certified ‘Design to Improve Life’ curriculum is aimed at developing sustainable solutions to global and local challenges.
