ABOUTTHE EVENTGCF plays a key role in delivering on the Paris Agreement goals and driving transformative climate action in developing countries. As the largest dedicated multi-lateral climate fund, GCF has a growing portfolio of over USD 13.5 billion in project investments and USD 530 million in capacity building grants supporting developing countries, including communities most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. Through Keynote remarks from the Executive Secretary of the UNFCCC and GCF’s new Executive Director and a panel discussion among High-Level partners of the Fund, this event will showcase how GCF is stepping up to enhance availability, affordability and access to climate finance for developing country Parties. Audience: Open to all registered attendees with access to the Blue Zone.
